X-rays, videos and document archiving
In addition to being a powerful, flexible tool to collect your patients’ outcomes, Socrates is also a cataloguing system for your X-rays, videos and other documents. There is no limit to the number of images or documents you can file with your patient records – you are only limited by the amount of storage available on the drive holding your images folder.
X-rays – these can be imported in order of their follow up delay. You can:
- view the images in full screen or slide show
- add key words to enable you to locate those of special interest
- search and export them to use in presentations
Videos – store your intra-operative videos with your surgery record. You can:
- View
- Export for use in presentations or to give to your patient
Documents
It is possible to import and file any kind of document (Excel, Word, PDF etc ) into the patient file. Examples of documents you might want to file are consent forms, pathology reports, letters from referring doctors, X-ray reports etc. These can be viewed, and exported at any time.
